“My Way”- Frank Sinatra
Sorry to my follower for being out of the blogosphere for the last week. A combination of recovering from finals and trying to soak up as much Los Angeles as possible has kept me away, but I will soon return. That being said, I couldn’t let Frank’s birthday pass by without posting something. The Chairman of the Board would have been 95 today, so I think a song that most accurately describes his life is most appropriate. “My Way” is about a man near the end of his life with no regrets, which despite the controversies he faced and the his own personal contradictions, I believe Frank felt this way at the end. Today, your fans remember and miss you, sir.
“I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried
I’ve had my fill, my share of losing
And now as tears subside
I find it all so amusing”
